click here Mount Meridian, IN – Long time friends and on-track rivals Eric Waddell and Sam Myers teamed up for the 2nd event of the 2012 NASA Great Lakes Region season, and Team Myers Motorsports made its debut at Putnam Park Road Course. Waddell handled the driving duties in the race group, piloting the Myers Motorsports #133 CRX to a 2nd place qualifying effort on Saturday in Honda Challenge 2 and then backing it up with a very strong drive in the race, finishing 2nd behind season points leader Eddie Sadauskas, with Myers Motorsports driver Andrew Locke rounding out the podium. In TTE, Sam Myers would return to the driver’s seat for the first time since 2010, shaking off the rust and an early morning run in with the tire wall to put down a solid lap in the final session of the day, securing a P2 finish. Myers Motorsports driver Rob Demorest made his debut in TTE and was solid all day, gaining speed and lowering his lap times each session on-track.
come fare treding Sunday’s results would be a replica of the previous day, with Waddell again taking 2nd place in HC2 and Myers timing in for a P2 finish in TTE.
